What belongs in the comparison

Use the same source amount, currency direction, payout method, and quote window for every provider. If one route settles differently, treat it as a tradeoff after comparing the numbers.

Rate spread

What it means
The distance between the source-labelled reference and the provider rate.
How to enter it
Enter the provider rate in target currency per one source-currency unit.

Fixed and network fees

What it means
Flat deductions such as a service, intermediary, withdrawal, or blockchain fee.
How to enter it
Enter each flat total in the target currency.

Percentage and weekend fees

What it means
A percentage deducted from the value produced by the provider rate.
How to enter it
Enter only an additional percentage charged on gross converted output; use zero for charges already included in the rate or final amount.

DCC markup

What it means
A merchant or ATM conversion markup when you choose a displayed home-currency amount.
How to enter it
Leave zero if the quoted rate or final home-currency amount already includes the DCC markup. Enter only a separate additional fee using the calculator's gross-output basis; do not add the disclosed ECB markup again.

Delivered amount decides the price

A stronger headline rate can lose after fixed or percentage fees. The table ranks nothing automatically; it highlights the highest delivered amount while preserving the order you entered.

Share state stays out of requests

The opt-in share action stores the versioned worksheet after # in the URL. Browsers do not send that fragment in the HTTP request, so amounts and provider labels do not enter BTR server logs.

Provider confirmation remains final

BTR does not know private account tiers, hidden fees, quote locks, refund rights, or settlement conditions. Confirm the executable quote before sending money or approving a payment.
